Mikkeller is driven by Mikkel Borg Bjergsø, and is one of the best known and prized gypsy breweries in the world. Many of the beers belong to the highest ranked in the world in their respective style. In recent years Mikkeller has scooped numerous gold medals for its beers at festivals as Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival. Mikkeller has among other things been named “The Godfather of Gypsy Brewing” by the newspaper BeerAdvocate.

Omnipollo has since the start 2010 won several awards for their brews and innovation. Their double IPA, Nebuchadnezzar, won prize as the best beer at the Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival 2012. 2013 they won prize as the “Beer developer of the year” with the motivation that they in courageously, pleasurable and innovative ways developed the Swedish beer culture and moved the boundaries of what beer can look, taste, be brewed and rewritten. Henok Fentie and Karl Grandin, who are the names behind Omnipollo, creates recipes for brews at home and then travels to various breweries around the world where they brew their beer. Omnipollo are in other words gypsy brewers and do it with the ambition to change the perception of beer - forever.
