Kavaklidere ("Poplar Valley") is the first and best-known private wine producer in Turkey, founded 1929 in Ankara. Kavaklidere and has become Turkey's leading wine producer after state Tekel, with a storage capacity of 19.5 million liters, of which nearly 20% is exported to Europe, Asia and North America.
Kavaklidere owns 617.5 hectares in the most important wine-producing areas of Anatolia on the Turkish peninsula and attempt to maintain the perfect grape-soil-climate equation to increase the potential of the grape varieties that traditionally grown there since long, and international varieties.
