Omnipollo is a rewrite of the word "omnipotence" and the Spanish word for chicken (pollo) which is best defined as a working method. The intention is to cross borderers and do unexpected collaborations and that unique result will follow. A type of creative chaos "pollo" symbolizes the seemingly most confused bird and its lack of coordination.
Omnipollo has since the start 2010 won several awards for their brews and innovation. Their double IPA, Nebuchadnezzar, won prize as the best beer at the Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival 2012. 2013 they won prize as the “Beer developer of the year” with the motivation that they in courageously, pleasurable and innovative ways developed the Swedish beer culture and moved the boundaries of what beer can look, taste and be brewed like.
Henok Fentie and Karl Grandin, who are the names behind Omnipollo, creates recipes for brews at home and then travels to various breweries around the world where they brew their beer. Omnipollo are in other words gypsy brewers and do it with the ambition to change the perception of beer - forever.
